They can then be eaten as a snack (called mutakura in this form), or can be mashed and mixed with various other ingredients like tomatoes, peanuts, maize, and cowpeas. When mutakura is mixed with potatoes and/or sweet potatoes, it is known as Jambalaya. Mashed Bambara Groundnuts are also sun-dried and milled into a flour.
