Description
Makoni Herbal are produced from the leaves of the Fadogia ancylantha bush that grows mostly in the Eastern Highlands area of Zimbabwe. Makoni Herbal tea is traditionally used to boost the immune system, build stamina, treat abdominal pain, including menstrual pain, backache and chest pains, coughs and flu and a variety of other ailments. It is also used as an aphrodisiac and to treat fertility problems in women. Communities in Southern Africa also use makoni tea for the management of diabetes, hypertension and the alleviation of symptoms of gastrointestinal disorders and pneumonia. Makoni Herbal tea is caffeine free and high in Zinc. This is sustainably harvested and processed in the Nyanga district and sold in its natural state.
